ABOUT THE PLAY

It tells the peculiar story of Virata, a famous warrior, known as the “Glittering Sword”, who lives in the land Birgwaghenses, ruled by King Rajupta. As the chief of the royal armies, he alone manages to put an end to some major civil conflicts. The grateful king gives him the royal sword and half of his kingdom. But Virata remembers  the eternal and penetrating gaze of his brother, killed by himself without him knowing it, on the battlefield.
