ABOUT THE ALBUM
Published in 2014, the album toggles between latin-jazz and funk throughout the 14 songs that Bruno has composed and performed, himself as he does on all his albums. He sings in Catalan, Spanish, English and Italian. This is his most mature work, an upbeat album, as shown by its first single Si la vida te da la espalda tócale el culo, a light-hearted song that aims to get rid of any negative thoughts with the help of Cuban sounds, inherited by Bruno from his stay in Cuba, and the classes that he received from the Cuban pianist Alexis Bosch. Also to be found are moments of vibrant jazz -JAZZ, Harpo- and samples of acid-jazz combined with electronic music and live electronics–Viva el amore, Music wil survive–. Moreover, Oro gives us a more personal glimpse of himself with somngs like The Wise Man.
